yeah, new year. new life. new haircut. i bet you guys wore something red last 31st? ako? nagpaputok ng kuwitis at sinturon ni judas. sabi kasi suwerte. but no matter how many belts we try to light up this year, it's what we do that makes us lucky. pero meron nga bang suwerte? meron nga rin bang malas?
looking back, 2008 has been very challenging for me. para rin sa sambayanang Pilipino. pumanaw ang kaibigan ko, ganun din si Daboy at Marky. tumaas ng sobra ang presyo ng alak, este ng bigas at gasolina. napromote ako. lumubog ang barko. nakapag travel kami nila mama sa SG at KL, naghiwalay si Dingdong at Karylle, at kung anu't ano pa. but still, God made me realize that there is a lot more reasons for me to be happy.
2009 is a brand new year for us. parang bagong sapatos. yung amoy kahon pa. makinis ang swelas, makintab. walang galos. it's up to us when are we going to wear it and where we will go. we can choose the bumpy road, pwede rin yung me aspalto. depende saatin kung pano natin palalawigin ang paglalakbay natin sa dadating na taon, ang importante ay kasama natin Siya. and everything will be allright.
i have thoughts on changing some of my habits this year. like loosing weight, quitting on smoking, and all that jazz. but since thoughts lang naman yun, wala lang. naisip ko lang.
hehe.
but whatever we do, let's just remember that what we choose is who we are. so let's all stay real and stay happy.

i was in trinoma last sunday to get a haircut pero ang haba ng pila sa benchfix.. ay magtitipid pala ako this year.. cge sa reyes haircutters na lang haha. happy year of the ox mykee! :)
